William T. Jorgensen “Tom”

William T. Jorgensen “Tom” was ushered into the arms of his Savior on Monday, Nov. 1, 2021 at the age of 89 years old.  Tom was born Feb. 25, 1932 to William A. & Margaret U Jorgensen. He graduated from Stanton High School and served in the Army during the Korean War.  He returned home to farm along side his father and then to take over the family farm.  After selling the farm years later he worked several places, a couple of his favorites were Spud Pak and working for Spencer Farms.

He was preceeded in death by his parent and his wives; Marilyn in 1978 and Sandra in 2004.  He is survived by his sister, Mary Anne Ealy, Children: daughter, Donna (Chuck) Currier, Son, David (Faye) Jorgensen, Stepson, John (Cathy) Steele, Stepson, Chris (Kristi) Steele, Stepson, Robert (April) Steele,  Grandchildren: Kevin (Kristy) Currier, Jeff (Lesley) Currier, Greg (Isabella) Currier, Matthew (Phiona) Jorgensen, Rebecca Jorgensen, Aaron (Michelle) Steele, Lauren (Colton) Schaap, Cameron Steele, Adam (Heather) Steele, Allison Steele, Rebekah Steele, Bethany Steele,  there are 18 Great Grandchildren with one on the way.  Also, a Brother in Law, Jim Foster, Brother & Sister in Law, Rick and Marilyn Hansen, and Sister in Law, Neesa Raha, along with many Nieces and Nephews.  

A Memorial Service will be held at Trinity Church 415 N. Mills St. Stanton, MI 48888 on Saturday, Nov. 6, 2021 at 5pm, the family will receive visitors from 4pm to 5pm.  This service will be live streamed for those unable to attend through Trinity’s Facebook link:  www.mytrinitychurch.com.

People wishing to honor Tom’s lifelong commitment to His Lord, family, and community can make donations to the Trinity Church of Stanton. Please send all donations to 415 N. Mills St. Stanton, MI 48888.  

The family is being served by the Barden Funeral Home in Stanton. Condolences may be left for the family online at www.bardenfuneralhome.com.

What a wonderful, Godly man! Our family will miss him. Rejoicing that he is with our Heavenly Father, but praying for comfort for those who are left behind. Much love.

Sorry for your loss of a very likable guy. He was always friendly to everyone he greeted at the door of the church.
